Lose The Tattoos With Permanent Makeup Tattoo Removal
There are many reasons why you’d want to remove a tattoo; some people get tattoos in their youth only to regret them as they get older, others get inked with the names of partners who are no longer present in their lives, and sometimes a well-meaning tattoo can be botched by a bad artist.
There are plenty of tattoo removal methods out there—most commonly laser and dermabrasion—but they’re often expensive, can result in permanent scarring, and they’re not completely effective. What you might not know is that there’s an effective tattoo removal technique that makes use of permanent makeup. This method provides you with fast results at a highly affordable price.
How Our Tattoo Removal Method Works
Tattoos are made up of pigments that are injected into the dermis, the layer of the skin that sits right below the outermost epidermis.
The best way to remove a tattoo is to take it out the same way it came in. We use needles similar to what we use with permanent makeup, and pierce the skin where your tattoos are located, right into the dermis. We then inject a special chemical formula, which consists of glycolic acids and other compounds, that interacts with the tattoo ink in the dermis, sucking it in and creating a thick mass.
Over time, the mixture is pushed out of the dermis, containing both the removal solution and the tattoo ink. You may notice a scab or other formation appearing over the course of a week, which also contains tattoo ink particles. You’ll have a few sessions, separated by about 8 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the tattoo, but ultimately the tattoo won’t take more than a couple of months to fully remove.
What Makes It Better Than Other Methods
Tattoo removal is mostly painless, just like other permanent makeup procedures. You’ll be provided with a local anesthetic cream at the site of the tattoo, and then all you’ll feel is a little pressure or scratching while we inject the formula. It’s relatively painless in contrast to laser removal, which can hurt about as much as getting inked.
Our method also only takes a few months to get positive results, in comparison to laser treatments which can take as many as 8 treatments, all separated by 6-8 weeks. Laser treaments can take well over a year before your tattoo is completely gone.
One other disadvantage of laser treatments is that it doesn’t work with certain colors of tattoo pigments. It also takes longer to remove tattoos from people with darker skin, as the laser may be absorbed by the increased melanin content in the skin. Our method works for nearly every kind of tattoo ink pigment, and is unaffected by skin color.
Finally, our method results in almost zero scarring of any kind, unlike many surgical methods of tattoo removal.
